As account receivable are written off, they are charged to the allowance account

the write off of a particular bad debt has no effect on expenses and no effect on net accounts receivable. Because gross and net A/R reduced by the same amount
There are 2 "approaches" to calculate allowance
- percentage of sales: phuong phap nay co mot so diem can luu y khi hach toan chi tiet (I will discuss about this when I have more time)
- percentage of account receivable

Cty của mình họat động bên xây dựng , vừa rồi mình có nhận công trình ngoài HN và bên đó kêu cty m phát hành bond nhưng cty mẹ ở Hàn Quốc đã chi tiền để phát hành bonh rồi . Bây giờ bên cty m kết thúc hợp đồng sớm và trên giấy tờ m còn nợ cty khách hàng một số tiền tạm ứng và bên cty bảo hiểm Hàn Quốc đã trả dùm cty m rồi. Các bạn hãy giúp m cách sử lý con tiền cty mình vẫn còn nợ trên giấy tờ với . Cám ơn các bạn nhiều
