The First Day
A young businessperson was in his new office on his first day of work. He didn’t have anything to do, so he just sat at his desk. But he didn’t want his co-workers to think he wasn’t busy, so he would pretend he was talking to a client on the phone. Then at around noon, a man walked into his office and sat down, so the businessperson started pretending he was talking to a client. Then he °put down the phone and asked the man, “May I help you?” The man replied, “Yes, I’m here to install the phone.”
